Calibrate Cameras

The Calibrate Cameras tab allows users to manage and fine-tune the calibration settings of deployed video cameras.

  • Select a camera to calibrate using the "Cameras" dropdown.
  • Use the Start Streaming and Stop Streaming buttons to control the camera’s video feed.
Calibration Locations

Users can choose a Calibration Location to slew the camera to using the "Slew to Calibration Location" dropdown. 
To manage calibration points, click "Edit Calibration Locations"—this opens a popup where users can delete existing locations

Adjusting Calibration Values

Once a camera is selected, the system displays its current calibration values, including:

  • Yaw 
  • Global Pitch
  • North Pitch
  • East Pitch
Users can input new values in the fields for:
  • New Yaw Correction
  • New Global Pitch Correction
  • New North Pitch Correction
  • New East Pitch Correction
Click "Update" to apply the new calibration values.
Initial Setup Requirements

Before using the Calibrate Cameras feature, you must first configure the camera connection on the Sensor & Effector Detail page:

  • directConnection – Must be enabled (true) to allow UNIFY.C2 to stream directly from the camera.
  • cameraConnectionString – The RTSP URL for the primary camera stream.
    • secondCameraConnectionString – The RTSP URL for a second camera stream (e.g., IR feed).
Once these connection properties are correctly set, the camera will become available in the calibration interface.
